Stampin'Up Secret Garden Puzzle Card!

Hi Stamping Friends,

I have no idea what this card is called as my friend Melissa demonstrated the technique at our last coffee talk night.  I'm calling it a Puzzle card!

I wanted a spring flowery type card and was limited to Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.  I pulled out my color coach and a coordinating color was Daffodil Delight. What do you think?
The card looks prettier in person because I took this picture late at night. You'll just have to come and stamp with me and see it in person. Or, place an online order and I'll mail you one.

This is what I used to make this card:
-#109521 En Francais Stamp set
-#115370 Teeny Tiny Wishes
-#129053 Heat Tool
-#109130 Clear Embossing Powder
-#129372 Secret Garden Framelit Dies
-#120908 Small Oval Punch
-#118138 Beautiful Wings Embosslits
-#120992 Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding
-#119246 Rhine stone Basic Jewels

I'll try to do a video but if you can't wait and really want to make one here's a few quick steps:

1) Cut Whisper White card stock 4" x 5-1/4". Stamp the En  Francais image with Versa Mark ink on Whisper White card stock.
2) Emboss the image with clear embossing powder and a Heat Tool.
3) Place two flower shaped framelit dies on the Whisper White card stock and run through the Big Shot die cut machine.
4) Sponge Cherry Cobbler ink over the two flower shapes.
5) Sponge Daffodil Delight ink over the 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White card stock.
6) Tie Cherry Cobbler seam Binding around the Whisper White card stock and attach to the Cherry Cobbler card base ( 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" folded in half).
7) Glue the flower shaped back into the empty spaces of the Whisper White card stock.
8) Decorate with butterflies.

Happy Stamping,

  1. I think this gorgeous. I ordered that set with the framelits and I'm going to try it. It's just lovely.

  2. Thanks for you comment!!! I hope you try it! It's a fun technique!
