Rose Wonder Inlaid Embossing Technique Card!

Hi Stamping Friends,

I finally tried an Inlaid embossing technique with the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlits Dies. You can buy them as a bundle #140804 for $60.25 and get a FREE Sale-a-bration item.
Rose Wonder Photopolymer Bundle by Stampin' Up!

To do this card start with a piece of Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ card stock.  Run snail over the whole thing and set it aside.

Lay the largest rose framelit over a second piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White card stock and cut with the Big Shot die cutting machine. Set the rose outline and pieces aside. Take the negative image and attach it to a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ card stock that is covered in snail. This make a base for the little pieces to go in.

Place the largest rose die on 4″x 5-1/4 Basic Black card stock and run through the Big Shot.  Take the black frame and place it in the inside of the Whisper White Base.

Then use the same die and cut out a Rose from Daffodil Delight, So Saffron and Crushed Curry card stock. Pop out the pieces and place inside the black frame alternating the colors.

Next cut the leaves with the same die from Old Olive, and Pear Pizzaz Card stock. Place these pieces inside the frame.

Your rose should be filled in with all the little pieces!!

I stamped a greeting from the Rose Wonder stamp set and attached the card front to a Basic Black 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card stock base scored at 4-1/4″

I hope you try this technique.  It takes a little longer than usual but It’s really fun!!

Happy Stamping,
Karina
