December Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop!

Welcome to the December Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop. The theme this month is bring on the bling and we hope you get some great inspiration.

I wanted to play with some new product. I used the new Rose Wonder Stamp set #140697 and matching Rose Garden Thinlits Dies #140619 on my card.

The new Rose Garden thinlits are gorgeous but consider picking up the Big Shot die Brush along with these dies. You just roll the brush over the back of the thinlit dies and the little pieces pop out. It's so fast and easy.  I cut the Rose shape from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper #140550 and glued it onto Blushing Bride card stock using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

I love glitter and thought I would share with two easy techniques to bling up your cards.

The first technique is how to create your own colored glimmer paper.

Fill an aqua painter #103954 with water.  Color Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper # 136315 with Wild wasabi ink.  Let the glimmer paper dry. If you're in a rush you can use the heat tool.   I glued my leaves to Wild Wasabi card stock and cut it out with my paper snips.

The second technique is to make your own Glitter Designer Series Paper.

Dab versamark ink over designer series paper and emboss it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  I used the new Love Blossom Designer Series Paper #140548.

I still wanted to jazz up my card and created a white stitched look around the rose with a Signo Whisper White Gel Pen.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Check out the blog hop list to see who's next.

Happy Stamping,
Karina
