Stampin’Up Happy Day Straw Technique Card!

Hi Stamping Friends,

What are you doing Friday night? We’re making this cute card at Super Fun stamp night. Email me at kchin2@telus.net if you want to join us!

This card uses a fun technique called the straw technique.

 Here’s the instructions:

Select a few colors of re-inkers.
Begin by using the lightest color and squeeze three drops onto
glossy card stock or photo paper. Blow the color around with a straw. Drops
three drops of the next color onto the card stock and blow with the straw. With
the last color, drop several drops of re-inker and smooth it over the entire
panel using your straw like a butter knife. Rub off excess ink with a Kleenex.
Stamp your image.
Use a heat tool to dry the panel if needed.
I used Pink Pirouette and Costal Cabana re-inkers on my card.
The stamp set is called Happy Day #130297. I love the greetings that come with this set.
Notice the center of the flower? I used the new Soft Subtles Candy Dots #130933. You just peel & stick. It’s so easy to use these embellishments.
The Designer Paper is the 2013-2015 Designer Series Paper Stack.  I punched a butterfly with the Bitty Butterfly punch #129406. So fun!!
I hope you like my card!
Happy Stamping,
Karina
