Chunky Glitter Lovely As a Tree

Hi Everyone,

Isn't this a beautiful card? I got the idea from one of the make & takes at the Millet meeting I went to in November. I thought this would make a great birthday card for my Dad.

Soft Suede was used for the card base. The greeting was stamped in Soft Suede ink and is from the On Your Birthday stamp set.

The tree was stamped in Handsome Hunter ink on Shimmery White card stock. The corners were rounded with the 3/16" Corner rounder punch. The tree image was layered on Handsome Hunter card stock. To Jazz up the card, Dazzling Diamonds glitter was added to the base of the tree with a 2-way glue pen. Chunky Sprinkles glitter was added to the tree with a 2-way glue pen. It looks amazing up close!

A jumbo brad was put in the corner of the image with a Crop-a-dile tool. I ran some Whisper White taffeta ribbon through the brad and tied it with some Linen thread.

I did some faux stitching on a 1/2" strip of Handsome Hunter card stock using the Paper-piercing tool, Mat pack and Uni-ball Signo White gel pen.

I hope you like it.

Happy Stamping,
