Cold & Cuddly Creation!

Hi Everyone,

This is another card we made at my Monday class. It uses the polar bear from Stampin'Up's Cold & Cuddly stamp set. This set is so cute it was hard to decide whether to use the polar bear or the penguin image in the window of the house. The bear won out because he's drinking a coffee since it's so cold outside.

The card base is 4-1/4" x 10" Whisper White card stock. You need to score it at 3-1/2" , 5" and 6 1/2". Then you make a diagonal score line from one corner of the 3-1/2" score line to the 6-1/2" score line. Repeat this line by scoring from the 6-1/2" line to the 3 -1/2" score line. Your score lines should form an "x". I took a picture of how the card gets folded.

The roof is made with Taken with Teal card stock. I stamped snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes stamp set in Whisper White craft ink. I used Holiday Lounge designer Series Paper for the bottom of the house. Basic Grey card stock was used for the door and the scalloped edge under the roof. The window was punched with 1- 1/4" square punch.

The polar bear was stamped with Taken with Teal ink. Basic Grey ink was used to stamp the coffee cup.

I hope you like him!

Happy stamping,
