Branch Out for Fall!

Hi Everyone,

Isn't this card great? I got the idea from my friend Cara who is also a Stampin'Up demonstrator. I changed the design but the idea is the same.

The card uses Brach Out and Sincere Salutations stamp sets. I don't know why I waited so long to get these sets. They're so versatile.

The technique is called water color wash. Take a piece of Stampin'Up watercolor paper and stamp the tree image from Branch Out in Basic Brown ink. Fill your aqua painter with water and gently squeeze to wet the brush. Run the brush over the top part of the tree wetting the watercolor paper. Ink up the leaves image from the Branch Out stamp set and stamp on the top of the tree in Ruby Red ink a few times. You'll see the colors bleed. Quickly clean your stamp and repeatedly stamp more leaves over top the tree top in More Mustard Ink. I added a bit of grass under the tree with my Aqua painter and Old Olive ink.

I used my Cop-a-dile to set a jumbo brad in the hole of the tire swing.

I love how this card turned out.

Happy Stamping,
